  6.    This directory contains the white paper, "HIPPI Performance on IRIX 5.2".
  7.    Written originally for SGI Field Engineers, it has since been sufficiently
  8.    polished up for limited external distribution.  Please note the COPYRIGHT
  9.    information in the COPYRIGHT file regarding both HIPPIperf.txt, as well as
  10.    the accompanying source files, blast.c and sink.c.

  14.     SUMMARY: This white paper explores the performance envelope of Silicon 
  15.     Graphics IRIS HIPPI version 1.0 as run on the CHALLENGE(TM) and Onyx(TM)
  16.     computer systems running IRIX version 5.2.  This report is for the HIPPI
  17.     expert.  June 24, 1994.

  21.    ascertain what, if any, special libraries, or compile-time flags one needs
  22.    in order to compile the sink and blast programs.  Anyone unsuccessful with
